So much of it is already written but it's impossible for him to complete the work now, although we're still trying to work out exactly how the ending will play out. I hope you can bear with us. In the meantime, book fifteen should be available in 4-5 weeks. Sending love and best wishes to you all."

Caption: AMARANTH EHRENHALT (American 1929 - 2021) Jump In and Move Around, 1962 Oil on Canvas Despite her acceptance into downtown New York's Abstract Expressionist milieu, Amaranth Ehrenhalt felt drawn to Paris, where she worked for over three decades. Regarding the unusual title of this brightly colored, all-over painting, Ehrenhalt explained, "I do just that in my work; jump in and move around. I try to get into some deep emotional state and then not really think on an intellectual or analytical level - it's almost like the painting is directing me in what I do." In a 1962 review, American Poet Laureate and art critic John Ashbery hailed it as an "excellent example" of New York School abstraction; however upon meeting the artist, he admitted that his praise would not have been so high had he known it was painted by a woman.
