I reached out to a company for support today and just... what in the ever-loving-infantilising-patronising-condescending-FUCK IS THIS? This wasn't an AI bot, I'd already passed that gatekeeper to get to a human, but this feels like an AI generated script. May as well have pat me on the head! #AI

I fucking HATE that shit. There's some kind of shift that's occurred with customer service scripts where they've all started doing this, and I really want to know what consultant was overpayed to come up with it.

Had the same thing with Google support and when I did get put through to a human, they insisted I had been talking with a human the whole time Yeah sure buddy, that's why I had to repeat the same info 3 times because it ain't an AI just picking out key words and not processing whole sentences
