Ice Cream Man 2.5 stars Dropped my rating half a star when I found out about about the AI. Dropped it another half when I realized the two-and-a-half-star Piranha 3DD did this kind of movie better. And because of everything that's set up in the first scene and immediately dropped. What's the point in making the main character such a loser if you're not going to make a big deal of him overcoming that? And why the hell would you devote so much time to the bully character, put so much emphasis on someone saying that he'll get what's coming to him, and not bother to do anything different with him than any other kid here. Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition 3 stars Why does the Joker: Folie A Deux parody have a better plot than the actual movie?
Young Washington 2.5 stars If it was any other studio, I'd think it was just another soulless Oscar bait movie. Kelsey Grammar's obligatory "Give Angel Studios more money," speech felt particularly sleazy with how he was acting like the movie was going to save America, and it made me seriously consider rating it lower. Faces of Death (2026) 2.5 stars "Every generation has it's rite of passage. This is yours." Because if there's anything that's comparable to an infamous shockumentary that tricked so many people into thinking its kills were real, it's a really stupid horror movie that isn't even shocking enough to get into unrated territory.
