Crossgame will forever be more important from a casual gamer marketing standpoint than lore and story which primarily the hardcore puyo enthusiasts care for Literally every modern puyo game’s online say for switch is a literal ghost town and the only ones on the other platforms are hardcore JP players that turn away the casual playerbase from lack of player skill balance The next puyo game will be dead on arrival without crossgame (In the west at the very least, Puyo will forever thrive in Japan as long as they appeal to the competitive scene)
