Is there a case that women are more willing to take what is seen as a non-graduate job, so are employed but not necessarily in a good job?
In fact, young men with a college degree now have the same unemployment rate as young men who didn’t go to college, completely erasing the graduate employment premium. Whereas a healthy premium remains for young women.

This tends to happen in times of rising graduate unemployment, it's a well-studied phenomenon in the UK. If you track the proportion of graduate men entering profession level employment, it tends to be higher than women. 1/2
Great thread. Only observation - is coding and computer science the only factor? What about other male dominated fields like engineering?
