$ jdx --help @jdx.dev · Feb 12 nix is has horrible DX. I wrote mise in part because I couldn't get nix to work after 2 attempts. I felt a DX-focused way to setup development environments was needed and 2 years in I think I was right.

Thank you so much for your work on mise! I've tried so many approaches to repeatable dev envs over the years and they were all more trouble than they're worth. With mise I finally consider it a solved problem. It's incredible.
+1 ! I live in China so both the Internet connection and hard setup steps stop me from using nix. I believe few contributers of a project would like to use nix. But with mise, everything changed.
