idk my takeaway is ppl lament the death of downtown but so much of what disappeared (aside from a few exceptions) seemed to idk. either be chains or big clothing stores? ig if ur vision for downtown is for it to be an outdoor mall, sure, it's sad; but i think that kinda era has passed for the city.
