Jeff @jeffmeyer.dev · Feb 12 Is anyone else bothered by this obvious gap in the RapidRide network? Getting from somewhere along the northern leg of the D to anywhere north of 100th is so cumbersome due to that extra transfer to the 40 you have to do.

Yes. The D line should tail into Northgate.
Better yet, extend it to Northgate. Easier access to the E line and 1/2 lines, built-in layover spot, and it could bypass the extra turns that the 40 makes to serve North Seattle College. A more express service from Ballard to Northgate sounds pretty good to me.
