Or, oh god, asking 38 people to review a piece that fell between two usually incompatible spaces. Paper owned. Reviewers kept balking at having to deal with what amounted to a new research space. I’m still mad at all 39 of them.
Ugh, I should get back into that racket. I got burned out when me and another dude ended up reviewing like 30 papers each. I might finally be over it or have buried that trauma deep enough to have forgotten.
