Jen G @jeng-art.bsky.social · Dec 1 Geometric Mean intaglio print 1990 The copper plate was prepped with ground, ready for my design but I hesitated. Put it in the drawer then found it later. All the beautiful marks that denote age, making this feel like an ancient drawing are from a process.

Whether we know it or not processes are ongoing and we are a part. This is another work from my archives, when learning printmaking in high school. It’s bizarre to see it’s so old it’s yellowing. Definitely in need of an acid free mat.
I leave the accidental marks in, the extra layer of history in the plate adds to the image.
