A turn in Pokemon Champions. On the POV side, a Whimsicott uses Charm on an ally Mega Staraptor, which due to the Contrary ability increases the Mega Staraptor's attack by 2 stages. The Mega Staraptor then uses Close Combat on an opponents Incineroar, knocking it out in one hit and raising the Mega Staraptor's defenses by 1 stage each (again, due to Contrary). The opponents other pokemon, Sneasler, is forced to Struggle, dealing a small amount of damage to Whimsicott and taking 25% of its total HP as recoil damage. The opponent then forfeits.

A turn in Pokemon Champions. The video begins in the middle of the players Sableye hitting the opponents Mega Charizard Y with Fake Out. Then, the opponents Talonflame uses Tailwind. The Charizard loses its turn to flinch from the Fake Out. The players Tyrantrum then uses Rock Slide, which hits both of the opponents pokemon and knocks them out in one hit. The opponent then forfeits the match.

My opponent has a very Fast looking team (Aerodactyl, Excadrill w/ TTar so it's almost certainly on Sand Stream, etc), so I decide to run my Trick Room mode, by which I mean bring Mimikyu and Scizor and two other pokemon and hope for the best. I call the first turn perfectly, protecting my Mega and using Trick Room with Mimikyu in the face of my opponents Aerodactyl (mega evolves and uses Tailwind, nice) and Chandelure. Chandelure uses Heat Wave, which bounces off the protect and hits Mimikyu, but fails to deal damage through the Disguise...but gets the 10% burn. Mimikyu is effectively cut off at the knees for the rest of the fight. My opponent prioritizes keeping their Chandelure alive, switching it in and out to avoid taking damage. Long story short, they successfully wait out the Trick Room and we're both left with only one pokemon each, their Chandelure at like 94% damage and my Scizor at like 33%. I figure I'm absolutely toast, Scizor is absolutely fucked, so I just click Dual Wingbeat (the most damaging move my Scizor has for Chandelure) and wait for the loss screen. My opponent uses Heat Wave again...and misses. I get in for like 70% with Dual Wingbeat, finish them off the next turn with Bullet Punch."
