jess @jess.red · Jun 22 so for the last 9 months or so I've been involved with rebooting the SF dyke march. we're a week out and posting one of our core values every day, so that gives me a chance to talk about them—how we got there, what resonates with me. this is the first one on the list.

this one took some work and strong community engagement to get to. i think initially we were afraid to say it with our whole throat because we were totally unelected with no mandate from our community to espouse particular views. we were worried about splitting our coalition before it even formed.
