So many reference books that it's hard to imagine the market for today. I have maybe a tenth of that, and most of mine are still at least two decades old. One of them is forty years old!
I feel like @tomtomorrow.bsky.social would identify with many of these rooms.
I'd show this to my wife to justify my office, but she'd just give me a hard time for not having written that novel ("The Night was Humid") yet.
Those books are great! Never owned copies of either volume but I used to browse through them at the library.
