Dear Mr. Wilson, I hope you are well. I am writing as a constituent in East Antrim to express my deep concern about the offer of a state visit to Donald Trump and to ask you to raise this matter in Parliament. Mr. Trump’s recent remarks and actions toward Ukraine and its people, including President Volodymyr Zelensky, have undermined the Western alliance that has safeguarded global security since World War II. His stance weakens the collective fight against tyranny and goes against the values of democracy and peace that the UK has long supported. I would be grateful if you could raise this issue in Parliament—whether through an Early Day Motion, a question to the Prime Minister, or another appropriate mechanism—to reflect the concerns of many in our community. I believe it is important that the UK sends a clear message about its commitment to standing with our allies against aggression and dictatorship. Thank you for your time and for representing our constituency. I look forward to your response.
