Jamie expressed criticism toward OnlyOneOf, alleging that the group has failed to manage the behavior within their fanbase and has, in her view, allowed a toxic environment to persist. Jamie further suggests that the actions of the individual who allegedly contacted her employer were a consequence of what she perceives as a direct result of OnlyOneOf not doing their jobs effectively. Jamie also claims that "straight people are not welcome or have been bullied out of the fandom." However, there is no evidence provided to support this, and the author was unable to find any that confirms that. Jamie suggests that, in her view, OnlyOneOf’s lack of active management over their fan community has contributed to the perception of the group as being primarily characterized as the “queer or gay group” and because of this they “are not taken seriously”.
