Editing note The long-awaited first volume of the anime collection of the old series "Lupin the Third" is now complete. As explained on page 106, we have included all 23 episodes of the old series in the hopes that readers will enjoy the world of Lupin the Third. This is the first time that the 100 Ten Land anime collection has been released in two volumes. Part 1 introduces the basic setting and storyline, focusing on episodes 1 to 12. Volume 2 will then provide a story guide for the remaining episodes 13 to 23, as well as the background to the planning of the Lupin Ill animation leading up to its broadcast, and profiles of the staff at the time. For this reason, I have included this short essay as an editorial note. I hope to work hard so that in the editorial notes for Volume 2, I can proudly write that I poured all my heart and soul into this book on Lupin the Third. Yokoyama Chisa, the voice of Emera/author of "I Want to Meet Lupin..." Yokoyama, who decided to become a voice actor after watching "The Castle of Cagliostro," wrote about her passionate feelings for "Lupin the Third" in her book "I Want to Meet Lupin..."
