Thinking about the conduct of the campaign such as how the Party's message were conveyed to voters, and how the Labour vote was mobilised; what do you think could have been done better or differently to improve the results in your area? The Labour Party needs to present a dynamic and inclusive left of centre alternative to the two ultra conservative parties rather than seeking to imitate them. When I see national Labour politicians demonising immigrants (we clearly need them, take a look at the care sector for example), trans people (overwhelmingly victims of bullying and abuse who are now having their rights taken away) and disabled people (if lots of people are claiming PIP then take a look sorting out the root cause mental health problems first) them this is no longer the Labour Party I know and have voted for since the 1980s. And that's without even mentioning the reluctance to engage properly with our EU allies. Labour is spending too much time looking to the right at voters who will never vote for them anyway and ignoring the haemorrhaging of votes to Green and Lib Dem (imagine that, Lib Dems now clearly to the left of centre of Labour!). Numerous surveys over the years show the UK public favours left of centre policies. We just need a party with the bravery and vision to enact them. Expect my resignation very shortly.
