Tbf, the under-30s had the closest split on tariff support--50-50. But to your point, all age groups also acknowledge that it will probably raise prices for them. We're a nation of nihilists.

And I maintain that shows there's a dearth of not just critical thinking but also of a larger sense of civic investment and responsibility for each other. It's not just in education--most institutions seem to be failing us, particularly the traditional media--but education is foundational.
Right, but that means that roughly 80% of the respondents are over 30, so they graduated HS no later than 2012, and many of them far earlier. Whatever failing these results show, it's not a recent phenomenon. I teach HS kids, so yes, I think that's important to do and do well. But it's not enough.
