Cupholder Industries is saddened to report that last Sunday was the last iteration of The Sunday Wash-up at The Dock in Redfern. We were one month short of the series’ first anniversary. In the last 11 months we have presented 32 live music programs with some of the most exciting perfomers we’ve experienced — all from Australia’s underground*, handpicked and curated by us. We’ve put on shows for first-time performers, second-time performers, one-time-only exclusives, performances from outside the bar, and so many moments that will live in our memories forever. Really though, there are too many highlights to list. We’ve been thrilled with every night, and we’ve had a blast DJing until midnight, having D&Ms on the outdoor tables, doing chaotic set changeovers and — more than anything — just enjoying the amazing blessing that is live music and community. We look forward to bringing back all of this energy as soon as possible in the form of a new venue partnership. Thank you for supporting live music. Joe and Caitlin * plus some Kiwis
