Trumps gag order on HHS, CDC, FDA and other related agencies means you WILL NOT KNOW when bird flu goes human to human. Or when your food is contaminated with Ecoli. Or when there was TB exposure on your flight. Healthcare workers won't know what diseases are spreading.
I'm going to make a bet here. I suspect the Trump organization knows bird flu is on the cusp. I suspect that they had a bad briefing. And I'm willing to bet they will do just about anything to avoid having their first 100 days marred by a bird flu outbreak they know is coming. And this is their solution.
The CDC was previously very clear that we will find human to human spread by unusual ER flu activity. Now, we won't. Which means functionally, the before times are over.
