Google Photos does not automatically upload videos immediately upon capture, but you can configure it to upload them as quickly as possible. Enable Auto-Backup: Go to the Google Photos app > tap your profile picture > Settings > Back up & sync and ensure it's turned on. This ensures new videos are uploaded as soon as they’re captured, provided your device meets the conditions (Wi-Fi, charging, screen locked). Adjust Settings for Faster Uploads: In Settings > Back up & sync, toggle on Unmetered Wi-Fi networks to allow uploads over Wi-Fi even when not charging. You can also enable Upload on cellular data (use caution—this may use significant data). Force Immediate Uploads: On Android: Manually trigger a sync by pulling down to refresh in the app. Keep the app open and screen active to allow the upload to proceed.
