Love Tatum, but this is the worst trade in NBA history.

As a forever Celtics fan this is the worse trade ever, who in their right mind would believe that this is beneficial for that storied franchise?
The worst part is that neither has the funds to travel the 215 miles they will be apart so they can share a cup of coffee & maybe a nice cruller occasionally
Maybe this is relevant and maybe it’s not, but I’ve been remembering the last couple days here as the drama is trickling out that it was a lazy JB pass that Tatum was lunging for when he tore his achilles

I think if somewhere in the nine years of Brown being offered up for trades, and dragged in the media, and slandered, and dismissed, Tatum had said a single, solitary thing in support of his teammate, this might hit differently. As is, I think he's worried about selling shoes in Boston.
