Because they're both talking about the same thing: context. Context has always been important, but even more so in a world with the internet full of hot takes and context collapse.

"Things move so fast, who has time to dig into context? Everyone's already moved on to the next thing!" Exactly! Being interested in context is even more of an advantage when the internet is constantly pulling just about everyone on to the next thing.
