Picture of a Hiby R3 II digital audio player. It is my 2nd proper digital audio player. This has 'balanced' output which is a bit fancy and largely unnecessary but it's fun to explore. The great thing about having music outside of one's phone is it doesn't drain the battery, isn't dependent on signal. And the sound quality is much much better. I download, swap and rip music these days. I am uninterested in 'renting' my music, my media.
