The Tortoise Trap: we confuse the behaviour of the system with the nature of the system. The more a system resembles a tortoise, the more we assume it is one. The more it resembles a cheetah, the more we treat it as one. Yet many tortoises are simply cheetahs constrained by how we treat them.
