GH pr screenshot: In essence we use ugly non-local control transfer (setjmp/longjmp) to turn ugly non-local control transfers (hardware traps) back into nice, friendly (and easy to reason about) Rust results returned from the call function.
Benchmarks of translating the above mentioned payloads showing an average time of 2.7µs, 18.3µs and ~250µs respectively. Also showing that towards the end of iterations of the largest payload outliers and noise increased dramatically indicating that maybe memory pressure or allocations are causing trouble
