"fart" @jonhendren.com · Apr 8 idk if it occurred to anyone to go back and watch the old shit and find out what made the good episodes good but it def wasnt money. most great episodes did not have explosions or lens flares or big space battles. it had like a 55 year old man pretending to play the flute using someone elses arms

they made DS9 on a fraction of what it currently costs to make a new Star Trek show, and that's one of the greatest shows of all time. Why tf can't they do the same here
YES star trek is at its core pretty stupid and YES im also stupid but i think its a big "no shit sherlock" thing to realize that the industry conditions that made "Good" Star Trek possible no longer exist and it prob shouldnt have been this hard to figure out!!!!
