I won't share the rest of my private correspondence with my MP regarding the Government's proposed stance on AI and copyright, but I feel this point is salient. My response:

This is great. Well done! One small point: when you say "your ideas are your own", change the word "ideas" going forward to "the written expression of your ideas", because ideas are not copyrightable, and anyone with bad intentions will use that legal loophole to discredit your arguments.
