i started out with a shitty dvr box with horrid software. then i installed Frigate on my home assistant box and got some $29 Tapo cameras. The interior one was ok but the outdoor ones lost packets too much. I now have ~60 dollar wired PoE Reolink cameras feeding that and theyre flawless. good NV too
