Time spent working out also inched up to a new record high—the average American spends slightly more than 20 minutes per day on dedicated physical activity, the highest on record. Roughly 1/4 of Americans work out on any given day, up from 1/6 in 2023.
more evidence the burrito taxi theory is an upper middle class + perception problem
