States are responding to the gambling boom, but too slowly—it's only within the last couple of years that major taxes on sports betting have been passed, but they're already track to raise more than $4B this year

Shocking not shocking…it’s too easy to absolutely destroy your life with a sportsbook/casino in your hand. Degenerates chase themselves into insolvency really quick.
It’s as though there’s a plot to create a generation of mostly young men deeply in debt with no way out.
