The SF Bay Area should really be represented as a combined statistical area. The same jobs are available to workers in SF, San Jose, the peninsula, and the East Bay. SF having the worst performance and SJ among the best just reflects corporate offices shuffling around.
How does remote work factor in? My headquarters is Nashville but only 1 of my team even lives TN.
