I didn't realize that Rockbox had a new major release (4.0) back in April! The last major release was in November 2019: www.rockbox.org/wiki/ReleaseN... I'm thankful that Rockbox still being actively developed! I still love using it on iPods and my charmingly tiny Sansa Clip Zip.
