This is a photo of my workspace, which has a couple 28" monitors, my Macbook pro, some Edifier speakers, my fancy pants Olympus E-M10ii 'webcam' and my Rode NTG2 shotgun mic. Plus a Focusrite Scarlett Solo hiding under one of the monitors. All balanced out by my very paper-centric todo list.
This is my workspace. The far left monitor has a bright light behind it. That bounces off the wall and diffuses the light to create a combo of key and fill light. The screen in the middle has my camera, an Olympus OMD E-M10 mark ii with a Panasonic 20mm f1.7. I use micro 4/3 because it’s what I’ve been shooting for years. There are a lot of great APS-C and full frame cameras that can do this. The mic is a Rode NTG2 shotgun mic. That means I can keep it out of the frame.
