This year has been tough for Journo Resources. We started 2024 with about £2,500 in monthly recurring revenue — aka money we knew we could rely on every month to come in and help cover our costs. As December draws to a close, more than a third of this has already gone. Our final regular client, which makes up more than half of this original number, is also considering pausing their campaign. This would be a huge blow for us.

We’re a tiny team; only one of us works full-time and none of us are here to get rich. We don’t receive any funding or have rich backers — and we don’t accept job adverts that don’t list salaries. We’re just passionate about making a fairer industry that supports everyone — which is why we’ve never paywalled or gatekept our resources.
