I felt like commenting on this, not with regards to AI or NFT's. Just about GraphQL, I agree that when GraphQL initially came out in 2015 that there was a lot of hype and that the community really didn't benefit from the perceived benefit. The hype <--> value was at a weird point

GraphQL has a lot of value but as a community we've failed to make it easy to have a good time with GraphQL. When someone starts a new server they don't get any tools to analyze what a good depth/breadth/... limit would be. They don't have a push towards Persisted Operations, Dataloader, ...
