J-P Treen @jptreen.com · Jan 23 You're doing it wrong. You have to pick up some books you'd never dream of reading. The most fun I had this week was opening a random book and found the single worst second sentence of a book that I have ever seen. It was breathtaking.

But the odds of picking up that one book in a bookshop that is precisely that are very slim to my mind. You can improve your odds massively by picking books in a more deliberative way.
