The drillers who drill boreholes (the tubes going down into the earth and getting the heat) are different laborers than the pipefitters who connect them (the big tube going down the middle of the street). The pipefitters union is the one that represents a lot of existing gas workers

I guess they are destined for more work in upgrading nat gas pipes than in building individual home connections to wells. šŸ¤” I’m gonna just hope that in any neighborhood where nat gas makes financial sense, GSHP water services (networked geotherm) will also make financial sense. šŸ¤žšŸ¼šŸ¤žšŸ¼šŸ¤žšŸ¼
