Fujoing4life was in the middle of uploading her 88th wintershroom fic from her phone when she met Truck-kun at the corner of Peachtree street. Death came almost instantly. She had just enough time to think "oh shit" before everything ended. But the world works in mysterious and often gay ways, and so Fujoing4life awoke again in a new life. She opened her eyes to soft fluttering curtains overhead and birds singing nearby. Sounds no city person every woke peacefully too, not someone working on her payscale at least. Bird sounds were for people who could afford a green space and gardeners. Not people in apartment complexes that had a few bushes and counted that as good enough for the landscaping. The curtains overhead were also definitely not hers, and the ceiling past them was made of beautiful beams of wood, not her usual popcorn ceiling that was slightly off color in several spots. No need to freak out, she'd read enough books and seen enough anime to have an idea of what was happening. Either she was having a dream of waking up, the literal worst, or she'd been transported to another world to become a hero or something. God she hoped she wasn't supposed to be a hero or something, honestly that job seemed way too high effort for someone like her.

Dark lines spread from her to me, flowers following the line connecting our bodies. “This is your fault,” Abby said.
