It came time for me to once again check in and see if AI coding models have started producing useful output. So here's what AI suggested as an autocomplete on some code. The code is just an empty class, so you'd think the AI would knock it out the park with like a default constructor or something. Possibly even some stubs inferred from the class name and nearby comments. But no, what we get is a constructor copied from some other class followed by a malformed copy constructor that falls into model collapse and starts repeating "affor affor affor" and "miniatur miniatur miniatur" like an utterly k-holed billionaire trying to tell joe rogan about his warhammer army It remains fucking *bonkers* that people let this shit run unsupervised on production code. I think on balance I'm quite happy writing code using my brain and hands actually
