Last week, Austrian police entered the premises of Central European university twice: first time completely undercover and in civilian clothing, second with their uniforms. They demanded a faculty member to identify under the pretext of having "illegal stickers" that say "From the river to the sea". The police entered the campus without a legal warrant, without resistance, and without questions from students, faculty or staff. The faculty member was left isolated in the middle of one of our campuses, while the administration, students passing by and the reception complied and normalized the situation in real time in our campus! Students did not intervene to inquire for the safety of their fellow university member!
