Small businesses, in particular, stand to thrive under this plan. By removing the burden of providing private health insurance, employers can focus on growth, innovation, and fair wages. The NYHA levels the playing field, allowing local businesses to compete without being crushed by rising premiums or administrative complexity. Governor Hochul, this is a moment to lead with courage and compassion. The NYHA is not just a policy-it's a promise to every New Yorker that their health and dignity matter. I urge you to champion this legislation and help build a healthier, fairer future for all.

To imply he represents a threat, in any form, is a betrayal of the inclusive values the Democratic Party claims to uphold. It is impossible to ignore the broader context: your consistent pattern of political calculation, including your push for Al Franken’s resignation — only to later endorse Andrew Cuomo, a man dogged by numerous credible allegations — raises troubling questions about your judgment and integrity. Furthermore, your alignment with groups like AIPAC, who have poured money into undermining progressive Democrats of color, casts a long shadow over your impartiality. If you cannot unequivocally support fellow Democrats who represent the multiracial, multifaith future of this party — and if you continue to fuel smear campaigns rooted in racism and religious bigotry — then you no longer deserve the privilege of representing New York. Perhaps, as you once demanded of others, it is time for you to resign. We deserve leaders with moral clarity not cowardice.
