My brother graciously printed up one of my CAD projects! I already have ideas for tweaks to the design, which makes me wonder how real designs are version controlled? i.e. the CAD files are in Git, but how do you know which revision produced this physical object? Writing "v2" on the parts in marker?

V2 on the parts in marker is the elite way to do it 😂 But if they are printing with a slicer that has text in it you can pretty quickly add embossed text of the version number onto it which I’ve found pretty handy!
