Philadelphia Railroad Suburban Station. Nestled amongst modern buildings, the facade of the station is black marble(?) with gold trims. The lettering is against a pinkish background . I am not a student of architecture, but this feels like a 1930’s deco. It’s definitely a contrast against the modern concrete.
An old, fancy “townhouse” between two large apartment buildings. The townhouse is white brick. There are 2 curved windows and door at bottom. In the center is a curved cutout with 3 windows and a balcony on top of the curve. Three small windows at the top. All of the windows are decorated with wreaths. A life sized Santa stands at the bottom left. Just before the entrance. A blow up Grinch is waving from the balcony.
A naked tree in a neighborhood is decorated with very large, colored balls. They are lit with small spot lights. (You can’t really see that because it is light enough outside) the sky is gray on this winters day.
Christmas village at dawn. 4 closed it’s sit below the lit “Christmas village” sign. To the right is the LOVE sculpture. In the background is the city skyline. The sky is cloudy and dark blue.
The Union League building at sunrise. It’s an old reddish, brown brick 3 story building surrounded by old tall white brick buildings. There is a center entrance that you reach by a curved stairway from either side. The reflection of the sun in a center window reflects to the viewer and looks like the sun is inside the window with rays shining out. There is a tall flagpole at top of building and an American flag hangs at top. The sky is cloudy and pinkish, puffy clouds are floating against a morning blue sky.

Sun rise on a center city street. Tall city buildings line either side of street. On the left, in the parking lane, is outdoor dining shed for Parc. Cars line the right. A cars taillights in the mid center of screen. Between the buildings is a cloudy yellow, orange sky of sunrise. In that yellow we see the naked, scrambled limbs of a tree that reaches over the road.

In front is a section of grass. Behind the wall are naked trees and a winter cloudy blue sky. A Quick Look on the interwebs tells me this work is part of the Ellen Phillips Samuel memorial on Kelly Drive. I am not finding details of this exact one.

The image was taken with slow shutter so cars moving on both sides are blurred. The sky behind City Hall is cloudy. Blue - gray on top and hints of pink at bottom.
An old building, it may be an annex to a church, I would call it light gothic. (I am no architecture expert. Not even close, but if someone says Gothic this would fit my image of that.) it is old brick and windows reflect some blues and gold of sunrise. There is a drive that starts in the lower center of image that swings up left of the building. To the right is a lawn with some shrubbery that has some hints of red and gold color.

Ferris wheel in the fog. It’s the top 3/4 of the wheel. It’s foggy so all we see are the cars, alternating red, blue, and green in color. The center of the wheel has XOXO. If you look really close you can see a few birds hanging out on wires within the wheel. I love photos in the fog!!

On the left is Ben Franklin Bridge with the Race Street pier underneath. On the right is Cherry street pier. It is winter so the trees on the race street pier, under bridge, are naked. The orange sky from sunrise is reflected in the windows of the Cherry Street Pier. It is sunrise. The sky is blue with wispy pink clouds and the yellow, gold of the sunrise is just on the horizon. Across the river we see a few buildings of anew Jersey.

Iron fence. There are two mittens stuck on the posts. They are children’s sized and they appear to be little mice or rats. The mittens are brown, pink puffy ears, pink puffy nose and two felt eyes. There is a large green bush in the immediate background. Blurred in the very background is a small part of an old gothic building.

A sculpture outside Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is a smallish bronze statue of a man in a robe. His arms are cut off. There is a rock wall behind and bushes, trees, and plantings surround. All of them nearly reaching their winter state. Red and gold colors mixed with naked trees. The sky is cloudy and gray with a hint of blue. Here is more from the interwebs: Charioteer of Delphi Considered one of the finest surviving sculptures of classical Greece Contemporary Greek artists Nikos Kerlis and Theodora Papayannis cast this duplicate using the lost-wax process, one of the most accurate methods available Around 478 BCE, Polyzalos, the Tyrant of Gela in Sicily, commissioned a statue to express his gratitude to the god Apollo for his charioteer’s victory in the Pythian Games. Now in the museum at Delphi, this bronze is considered one of the finest surviving sculptures of classical Greece. The cast near Philadelphia’s Museum of Art was a gift from the Greek government.
Black & white image of a small cemetery in Philadelphia. The central focus is a white statue of a woman, is it Mary?, wearing a long head scarf, rosary, and holding an open book. There are trees and gravestones surrounding. My mother in law, who lives in another country, passed away last evening after a long illness. I chose this image today for her. We are not a religious family but it is a peaceful image and I wish her nothing but peace.
