The other one I hear from my station here a lot is KL2T. 12m might be a little hard this time of year but should be easy next summer. Best chance is probably a very late opening on your side on a hot sunspot day. Graph is for December from Clublog; January is much worse and February is improving.

I have seen any KL7 according to psk-r either so maybe I’m out of the zone until late winter

Thanks. I can wait for the equinox for sure. I have 2el at about 40ft with 500w of ft8. 1kw SSB/CW so should have a good chance
