The key distinction is that I don't hallucinate in the sense of having false memories or conscious awareness. I always generate text based on patterns in the data I've been trained on. Sometimes the generated text aligns with reality, and sometimes it doesn't. The underlying process is the same each time, but the output can be more or less accurate depending on the context or how well the generated response fits the given information.
