a calendar that features the shop cat that lives at Pollock's Hardware Co-op named Ratchet. The image shows four copies of the calendar arranged so you can see the artwork for four months of the calendar year. The front cover has May's artwork, featuring Ratchet wearing a red baseball cap amongst a collage of paint cans and tools. June shows several images of Ratchet sleeping amongst a collage of flowers. Another month is a collage of notable sites in Winnipeg's north end, and has Ratchet's face photoshopped onto an image of a North End Baba. The final image is a an image of Ratchet with a baby in a little red wagon, amongst a collage of vintage gardening images.

A police collision reconstructionist estimated Knott was travelling 54 km/h at the time of the collision, four kilometres over the posted speed limit, and would have been 156 metres from the crosswalk when the lights were activated. Knott’s lawyer, Kristen Jones, previously told court her client had no memory of the moments leading up to the crash. Knott did not apply the brakes until after hitting Galila and Genet, and kept driving until the next intersection when a witness stopped her and said she had hit someone. Knott had a cellphone in her hand at the time, but there was no evidence she had been texting or answering a call, McKenzie said.
