Karkat is wearing a sage green winter coat and a candy red scarf that covers the bottom half of his face. Dave is wearing a burgundy trench coat, fuzzy brown ear muffs, his shades, and a face mask. It's a dark, snowy night, so probably around 4pm. In the first panel Dave holds Karkat close to him, hand on his shoulder, and throws up the millennial peace sign while saying "cheeeeeese" with the other. Karkat is taking a photo of them both. The next panel is zoomed in on their faces and Karkat looks to Dave and asks "did you smile?" Dave hesitates and says "...no." In the final panel, Karkat deletes the photo. Dave turns to him, shocked.
Karkat and Dave are sitting across from each other at a cafe booth by a floor-to-ceiling window, laptops out on the wooden table as they converse. Karkat seems to be scolding Dave about something, who looks to be a little perturbed by what the other is saying. Dave and Karkat are on a sunny field full of ripe radishes. Dave is crouched on the dirt, swarmed by a bunch of wigglers, smiling up at Karkat who is visibly sore and sweaty, massaging his shoulder with one hand and holding a shovel with the other. There is a candy red wiggler crawling up Karkat's leg and pile of harvested radishes next to them. Also Karkat is wearing jean overalls. This is important to me. I think he looks cute in them.
Karkat begins eating his cake as he says "So I hear you're a year away from permanent deterioration." John lets out a flabbergasted "huhhhh???" before adding "I'm literally an immortal god. Where did you hear that?" Karkat points to the side with his thumb. The next panel shows Dave, Jade and Rose in huddling suspiciously in the distance next to the birthday cake. Jade says "come join us f̶̧̬̉͝o̴̲̝͑̆ṟ̷̍̀ ̷̻͋̊c̵̖͠ͅǎ̶̙k̵̭͊e̵̙͛̍, john!!!" The final panel shows a zoomed in frame of Dave, Jade and Rose's deranged expressions as they repeat "Join us, John..." in unison. Dave is grabbing his left wrist shakily, Jade is clutching her right side with both hands, and Rose and holding a fist up to her lips while text pointing to each read "Carpal tunnel, kidney pain, and mysterious cough", respectively.
John is looking up at the reused "Happy 18th birthday John!" banner, which has 18, 27 and 28 crossed out, now replaced by the number 29. He looks at it and says "guys... just get a new banner". Karkat offscreen says "Wow. Has the aficionado of running gags finally met his match?" The next panel shows Karkat sitting comfortably on the floor with a slice of cake set to the side. John crouches down to sit next to him as he says "hey Karkat!". Karkat replies "Hey Egbert. Happy wriggling day." John replies "hahaha thanks man".
Davekat are "hanging out" in the bathroom. Karkat is actively using the gaper with shut eyes and messy bedhead. Dave is standing next to Karkat, leaning against the sink and happily chatting. An arrow points to Dave that states "6:00 AM yappathon", while a second arrow points to Karkat that says "sleep-shitting".

A younger Commander Karkat struggles to free himself from 8 wigglers who are climbing his person. Karkat looks visibly distressed as he says "Kanaya... help." I would like to mention that one of the grubs is bald with a silly little swirly hair.
Jade Harley, Rose Lalonde, Dave Strider, and John Egbert are walking in a field surrounded by trees and shrubs. Jade is ahead of the group and turns back with a smile as she says "keep it up guys! being with nature is good for you!!!" Dave props his shades on his head with a neutral expression while Rose smiles and says "Surely this will fix us." John, who is visibly struggling with the exercise, says "Don't call me Shirley." Everyone turns back at John, looking unimpressed. Jade holds up a clenched fist, ready to punch him. (They're primarily on this walk for his (her???) well-being).
