So far, the addition of ICE to monitor doors and not look at X-ray machines has, fascinatingly, not instantly solved our airport problems. "President Shipman is trying to balance different factions, but I was disappointed," McMahon said. His detention has drawn protests. The following day, the university received a notice of civil-rights violation. McMahon said the notice was in the works before Shipman's speech.
Leaders of some of the firms have seen Mr. Trump's comments in recent days and are just hoping that Mr. Trump will not follow through and press them to take on work on behalf of the administration, according to three people with direct knowledge of the matter.

But if Trump is extorting millions of dollars of value in his *personal* capacity in consideration for taking or desisting from taking official government action, that seems like a textbook definition of bribery or some other form of criminal misconduct, presumably with no official immunity. But Mr. Karp sought to strike a deal with the White House only hours after Paul Weiss was hit with an order, two people briefed on the matter said. Last month, Paul Weiss removed a web page that had highlighted its “leadership in a court-ordered effort to find parents deported by the Trump administration and to reunify families.” Visitors to the page now get an error message, as do users looking for any mention of Paul Weiss’s pro bono work on behalf of L.G.B.T.Q. people.

Paul, Weiss will dedicate the equivalent of $40 million in pro bono legal services over the course of President Trump's term to support the Administration's initiatives, including: assisting our Nation's veterans, fairness in the Justice System, the President's Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, and other mutually agreed projects.
Other evidence in the case further supports the district court's decision to admit Ms. Leeds's testimony. As discussed below, the jury could reasonably infer from Ms. Stoynoff's testimony and the Access Hollywood tape that Mr. Trump engaged in similar conduct with other women -- a pattern of abrupt, nonconsensual, and physical advances on women he barely knew.
