Queerness is not a movement, a trend, or a phase— We are lives, Hearts Minds, Neighbours, Friends, That deserve to be seen. I do not wish to be political, But when hate grows strong, And tells us we cannot, be not, exist not— I do not wish to be political. But I must speak. For my truth cannot be denied.
